Welcome to Buenos Aires. It started well yesterday, arriving in bright sunshine after a 22 hour bus ride.
A taxi to the Hostel Tango, a slightly musty but improving and characterful gaffe, and we are settling in nicely.
Just as well, really. Our walking tour today was abandoned due to torrential rain. We sat in a nice cafe, though - very Parisienne, like the rest of the city - with a bottle of red wine and rolling news on the TV, happy to sit it out until we can explore more tomorrow.
BA already looks fantastic - Paris v Havana - and we may stay here a little longer, just to take it all in properly.
