0530 and we're off to Pucon and an even more fantastic campsite. If they'd been this good in the 70s I might have lasted a bit longer in the cubs.
Pucon is a tourist town with a volcano, lakes, beaches and a national park. There's a bit of money floating around as Chile has a strong economy and I'm told Pucon is very much like Breckenridge in the States, which means nothing to me other than it's like a typical mountain resort.
We wander 'round the town, go out for a steak and red wine evening with the team, then next day Kim and I hit the beach, have a sleep and a drink before going back to camp where Cook group 2 have made a lovely spag bol dinner for all, and we have more red wine.
Have to keep up our strength for the challenges ahead...
Sounds AMAZING - keep the reports coming :-)
